Job Description
Escape60 is looking for a hands-on, creative problem solver to help maintain and improve our escape room environments. Our rooms are immersive sets that experience constant use, so they require regular repairs, touch-ups, and creative improvements to keep them looking great and running smoothly.
This is a part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys fixing things, working with tools, and contributing to creative environments. If you like building, repairing, painting, or improving physical spaces, this role gives you the chance to work behind the scenes of a unique entertainment experience.
What You Will Do
Perform routine repairs and maintenance on escape room props, puzzles, and mechanical components.
Repair and touch up themed set pieces including walls, props, furniture, and decorative elements.
Assist with small construction projects related to new escape rooms or upgrades to existing rooms.
Help build or improve puzzle mechanisms and game components.
Inspect rooms regularly to identify wear and tear before it becomes a problem.
Maintain tools, materials, and workshop areas in an organized way.
Work with the operations team to ensure rooms stay immersive and functional for guests.
What We Are Looking For
Someone who enjoys fixing things and figuring out how systems work.
Comfortable using basic tools and performing small repairs.
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and manage small projects.
Reliable and organized with a proactive approach to maintenance.
Bonus Skills
Experience with carpentry, woodworking, or prop building.
Basic electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.
Painting, set design, or scenic construction experience.
Experience with 3D printing, laser cutting, or fabrication.
Experience working with escape rooms, themed entertainment, or theatre sets.
Position Details
Part-time position with flexible hours based on project needs.
Typical schedule may include a few shifts per week focused on repairs, improvements, and room upkeep.
