Role Overview:
We are looking for a Creative Reel Editor with a refined aesthetic sense to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong visual eye and an intuitive understanding of design and aesthetics, particularly as they pertain to beauty and lifestyle content. You will be responsible for crafting visually stunning reels and short-form videos that not only tell a story but also elevate the brand's visual identity across social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Video Editing: Edit and produce high-quality reels and short videos that align with the brand’s aesthetic and storytelling guidelines, with a strong emphasis on visual harmony and design.
• Aesthetic Development: Collaborate with the creative team to define and refine the visual style of video content, ensuring a consistent and sophisticated look across all platforms.
• Content Creation: Develop creative concepts for reels and video content that reflect the brand's ethos and resonate with our audience.
• Visual Storytelling: Utilize advanced editing techniques, including color grading, motion graphics, and visual effects, to create engaging and visually cohesive narratives.
• Trend Analysis: Keep up with the latest trends in design, fashion, beauty, and social media to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.
• Music & Sound Design: Select and integrate music, sound effects, and voiceovers that complement the visual style and enhance the overall aesthetic of the videos.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and social media teams to ensure that all video content aligns with broader campaign goals and brand strategy.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience as a reel editor, video editor, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create visually appealing content with a strong aesthetic sense.
• Aesthetic Sensibility: Deep understanding of design principles, color theory, and composition, with the ability to create content that is visually cohesive and on-brand.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and familiarity with color grading tools.
• Creativity: Strong creative vision with the ability to translate ideas into visually stunning videos that capture the brand’s essence.
• Social Media Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok, and how to create content that performs well on these platforms.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that every frame, color, and sound contributes to a polished final product.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality under tight deadlines.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
