Hi Folks,
We at Bluekraft Digital Foundation are looking for Creative Script Writers who are proficient in English. As part of this role, you will be required to write scripts for digital audiences in both short and long formats in English.
As a Script Writer, you will be expected to:
⮚ Produce captivating, well-flowing online video content by writing well-structured, detailed scripts from the research provided to you.
⮚ Create concept notes, voiceover scripts, and documentary scripts based on ongoing socio-political issues.
⮚ Create a plan in collaboration with other team members, deliver content based on the plan, prepare scripts for pre-production, and assist with production and post-production.
⮚ Keep coming up with creative ideas, and craft a script that captivates viewers right away. Excellent writers will be able to recognize team members' strengths and write scripts accordingly based on their individual styles and skill sets.
⮚ Provide social media copy and headlines for videos on social media channels, including thumbnails, titles, and descriptions that are appealing to viewers as well as social media algorithms.
⮚ Be on the lookout for interesting stories and new content that can be made into videos.
⮚ Independently develop digital channel-relevant ideas.
⮚ Proofread and write grammatically accurate copy.
⮚ Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, pop culture, news stories, public policy, and entertainment.
• Qualification: -
Our ideal colleague will be:
- ⮚ A professional with at least 3-5 years of experience writing social media scripts/copy.
⮚ A Graduate/ Post Graduate in Communications and Journalism/ Film Studies/ English.
• Must Have Skills: -
⮚ An individual who would have written for YouTube documentaries.
⮚ Having a flawless grasp of grammar and punctuation.
⮚ Writer who can express the same idea in different ways.
⮚ Adapts to different writing styles according to the story type.
