Position – Creative Writer
Employment Type – Full-Time & Permanent
Job Description - We are looking for a passionate Creative Writer to join our team. The Creative Writer will be responsible for developing and writing original content that resonates with Gen Z & millennials. As a creative writer, you will play a key role in creating campaign for social media, community, influencer marketing, and brand marketing efforts. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling that captures the reader's attention, and a flair for adapting to different writing styles to suit the brand's voice.
• Writing content for websites, brand videos, social media posts/campaigns, email campaigns, podcasts, mobile applications & more
• Your writing will help our brand stand out in the highly competitive EV industry and inspire our customers to take the plunge and embrace electric mobility.
• Writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action.
• Keep up with current trends in the industry, updated with latest writing styles & pop culture trends.
• Creating headlines, slogans, catchphrases, straplines and body copy for digital/print advertising and leaflets.
• Clarity on latest trends on socials & good grasp of content consumed by audience.
• Strategize and create brand communication- contribute to the brand development & building campaign.
• Create engaging campaigns for influencer marketing & social media.
• Produce clear content with a distinct voice that's best suits with the target audiences.
• Work with Brand Managers and Designers to create compelling content for several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines.
• Familiarize yourself with your products and services, the target audience and competitors' activities.
• Write clear, persuasive, original copy through the various iterations of the project and proofread copy to check spelling and grammar
• Oversee campaigns through the production stage to completion and monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
• Liaise with creative agencies, production companies & photographers,
• Knowledge of SEO and content development to create digital content that helps us get found via search engines, and showcases our company as a leader within the industry.
• Perform other tasks that may assign based on the job demands.
Job Location: Bangalore
Required Qualification:
• Graduation: Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
• Post-Graduation: MBA/PGDM in Marketing (Full Time - 2 years) or related field
Experience:
• 3 to 5 Years of Experience
Requirement of Skills & Abilities
• Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio
• Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions
• Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management
• Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
• Experience in writing of B2C audience
• Strict adherence to the style guides of each company and their policies for publication
• Good time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
• Proficiency with computers, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with the company's brand image, products, and services
