Permanent, full time
Based in Melbourne, VIC
You will attend full time training in the office (Monday to Friday) for approximately 6 months and then transition to hybrid working where you will work 3 days in the office and can work the remaining days from home.

What’s the role?
As a Credit Assessor, you will support the mortgage application process for applications received from our Third-Party Broker Network, handling both simple and complex cases, such as PAYG, LMI, Construction, Guarantor, Home Guarantee Scheme and more.
Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing applications for accuracy and compliance with quality standards
Assessing creditworthiness and serviceability while adhering to lending regulations
Referring applications beyond credit guidelines to managers
Building strong relationships with brokers by providing guidance and maintaining trust
Ensuring audit, compliance, and quality standards are met to minimize risk
Offering advice on application structuring, credit policy, and documentation.
What do I need?
Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise, consult and advise internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
High attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Finance/banking background desirable
