• Credit Assessment: Evaluate credit applications received from customers and assess their creditworthiness based on established guidelines and criteria. Analyze the applicant's financial stability, repayment history, and risk profile.
• Authorization Process: Make informed and prompt decisions regarding credit approvals, within defined authority levels. Ensure compliance with credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of credit decisions and related documentation. Collaborate with the credit team and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the authorization process.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential credit risks by conducting thorough analysis and due diligence. Assess the borrower's ability to repay the loan, evaluate collateral, and analyze market conditions. Identify any potential fraud or irregularities in credit applications and take appropriate actions to mitigate risk and protect the bank's interests.
