What is the job like?
Manage credit card operations for the US market, including but not limited to network settlements, disputes, repayments, account management, and customer support. Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry guidelines, such as the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, finance, marketing, and customer service, to optimize credit card processes and enhance operational efficiency. Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and workflows to streamline credit card operations while ensuring adherence to internal controls and risk management protocols. Conduct regular audits and quality assurance reviews to identify and address operational gaps, errors, and potential fraud risks. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to credit card operations, and recommend appropriate actions or enhancements. Analyze operational data and generate reports to evaluate performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and present findings to senior management. Provide training and guidance to team members on credit card processes, compliance requirements, and operational best practices. Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive customer information.
Who should apply for this role?
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Certified Card Operations Professional (CCOP) are a plus. Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in credit card operations, preferably in the US market. Strong knowledge of credit card industry regulations, compliance requirements, and payment processing systems. Familiarity with credit risk management, and fraud prevention techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and propose effective solutions. Proficient in using credit card management systems, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality work. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
