Designation: Credit Intelligence & Control- SLI – Officer
Position description: Providing support towards reducing fraud risk in the SLI product
Primary Responsibilities:
• To conduct Risk based checks on Groups and Group members post disbursement
• Checking existence of groups and members
• Checking for anomalies such as member exit from group OR members from same family etc.
• Checking Involvement of 3rd party in the loan structure and in sourcing process
• Checking approved Geo limit in between the group member.
• Any unauthorized financial transactions carried out by the bank staff or associated staff for facilitate the loan.
• Verifying RM, Credit FE and SO visit conducted at the time of sourcing stage.
• Checking maintenance of records by group and group members for e.g.; 100% attendance at time of BET (borrower eligibility test), borrower cannot have more than 2 loans other than HDFC bank
• Confirming loan availed by members and end use
• Scrutiny of KYC documents held by the applicant
• Responsible for gathering concerns on any issues related to misappropriation of funds, higher EMI / higher interest charges collected from group members
• Instilling confidence in group members to admit any kind of wrong practices happening with regards to group management
• Support in carrying out investigations of frauds detected post disbursement and initiate remedial procedures towards recovery and legal recourse
Additional Responsibilities:
• Engaging with Business and Credit unit to discuss and resolve matters pertaining to specific cases
• Highlighting instances to Business and Credit of instances where group members' contractibility was low.
• MIS reporting to Location managers and Regional teams on various data requirements
• Highlighting incorrect information updated in the loan structure i.e. Incorrect Mobile no. KYC's
Educational qualifications preferred
• Category: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree
