The Job
Key responsibilities areas:
• Supporting the daily operations for loans servicing by ensuring all requests are processed in a timely and accurate manner, in line with internal service standards.
• Reviewing credit documents and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure documentation is complete as per the internal policy and guidelines.
• Monitoring of credit limits and exposures.
• Ensuring collateral valuation, monitoring and reconciliation with original documents.
• Planning and executing business risk and other audits activities across various business units.
• Preparing, scheduling, planning, executive and reviewing internal audits according to the annual audit plans in conjunction with various stakeholders.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls to address financial, operational, external, and other relevant risks.
• Recommending ways to improve internal controls and governance processes.
• Presenting periodic reports and audit findings to the senior management.
The Profile
Key Competencies:
• You have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• You have at least 1 year experience within a Credit Operations / Collateral Management or Internal Audit role, ideally within the Corporate Banking industry.
• You have solid experience in a regional role ideally including experience covering India.
• Experience within Financial Audit would be a strong advantage.
• Experience within Financial Services and Consumer would be highly valuable.
• You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
