• In-Depth Analysis to understand key underlying trends and providing the business appropriate insights to aid in risk mitigation
• Process Automation and streaming initiatives for better accuracy and efficiency
• Product analytics: This includes analysis leading to new product development and/or feature change of existing products. Impact of product features and marketing offers are established through rigorous analytical efforts to understand the shift in customer requirements and sentiments to enable recommendation of necessary changes to drive customer delight along with profitability
• Evaluate performance of segments / products / campaigns based on risk metrics such as Net credit losses, delinquency rates etc… and recommend risk policy changes (e.g., bureau score cut-offs, age cut-offs, occupation exclusions, segment swap-in / swap-out etc…) in consultation with Regional analytics / Regional In-business risk counterparts
Expertise Required:
Analytical Skills:
• Problem Solving – Ability to solve unstructured problems and generate insights that business can leverage
• Provide support in the management and efficient delivery against requirements set forth by internal Risk oversight group as well as external regulators
• Proficient in SAS, Arcadia, Teradata, MS Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Python and familiarity with Hadoop and related tools (Hive, Hue, Map Reduce, Impala, etc.)
• Expertise in Tableau with Dashboards & different graphical representation of complex data sets is preferred.
• Experience in EAP platforms preferred.
• Prior Exposure to Risk / Credit Card / Transactional Data is preferred.
• Traditional Modelling - Hands on expertise in statistical modelling techniques like Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, Factor Analysis, Segmentation, Discriminant Analysis, Stochastic Process, Time Series is preferred
• Previous experience in automation and handling large data sets is preferred
• Should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills and ability to engage with multiple teams
