The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for below specific duties.
Your job duties will include:
• Provide support to branch personnel regarding Certificates, IRAs, Deceased, Trust, and other fiduciary accounts.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for designated account types and provide internal branch support.
• Process mailed and electronic requests, including follow-up on pending items and DNE notifications.
• Track and update request status in the contact management system to help branches communicate effectively with members.
• Ensure professional and efficient member service operations.
• Maintain knowledge of deposit products, services, and banking regulations.
• Open and close accounts, including shares, checking, money market, IRA, Certificate, trust, organization, and business accounts via mail or electronic request.
• Maintain knowledge of compliance regulations, including BSA, OFAC, USA Patriot Act, Red Flags, Regulations CC, D & E, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, and Privacy requirements.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Strong understanding of member and financial service products.
• Knowledge of bank or credit union back-office operations.
• 3+ years of related experience in a financial institution.
• Experience handling advanced account functions, including IRAs, Deceased, and Trust accounts.
Pay Rate Range: $22.00 - $24.50/hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
