Crossing Guards – VS020926
The Career Foundation is hosting a Job Fair for Crossing Guards on behalf of one of Synergy Protection Group Inc. one of the employer partners
Location: Toronto (Applicants must reside in postal codes M4, M5, or M6)
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Salary: From $18.99 per hour
Number of Vacancies: Multiple
Responsibilities:
Ensure the safe crossing of pedestrians at designated intersections.
Monitor and coordinate pedestrian and vehicular traffic flow.
Use a hand-held stop sign to signal traffic and ensure visibility.
Maintain clear communication with crosswalk users and report incidents or hazards.
Stay alert and responsive to changing traffic and weather conditions.
Wear all required safety gear during shifts.
Requirements:
Must reside in postal codes M4, M5, or M6 (no exceptions).
Must provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check (cost reimbursed after 3 months).
Strong alertness and judgment for safe decision-making.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong communication skills and punctuality.
Must be able to stand and be present during morning, lunch, and dismissal shifts on weekdays.
