Team Head - Treasury Back Office
Job Description:
Business:
- Approval and Release of Treasury deals captured on the system
- Obtain confirmation from counterparty banks on the deals undertaken during the day
- Cross verification of Foreign Currency deals with counter party banks over recorded lines along with verification of the exchange rate grid appearing on the Reuters screen printout provided by Treasury Front Office
- Follow up with counterparty banks in the event of non-receipt of funds on the maturity date
- Approval/ Release of RTGS transactions for INR Deals
- Approval/ Release of SWIFT messages for Foreign Currency deals
- Reconciliation of entries posted during the day with Treasury Front Office and filing/ maintaining records of the same
System & Processes:
- Building up strong internal controls at Treasury Back Office. Design, implementation and circulation of internal reports - like PP limits, forward maturity reports, etc.
Support for new products and processes to Front Office - FX forwards, Derivatives - Interest Rate Swaps, Currency Swaps.
- System enhancement - BO module for new products. Support to IT teams for launch of various modules/systems like SOLAR.
Customer:
- Providing best in-class service to the bank's customer by providing on-time MTM reports or any information sought by them
- Timely follow-ups for compliance of regulatory requirement regarding submission of Underlyings etc.
