Description
• Develop and promote the professional and personal growth of the local technology team members, while propagating best practices and fundamentals.
• Work closely with other business units like Ecommerce,Retail, Logistics, Finance, Customer Happiness, Product and Production to ensure collaboration, knowledge sharing and establish a robust IT ecosystem
• Collaboration and synchronizing with the India Tech Hub in the future.
• Strategise and shape the local capabilities required to fulfill the India entity's ambitions, while aligning with company's global operating model for technology activities
• Listen and respond to the country's needs for new/changed digital solutions, while synchronizing them with existing local and global catalogs
• Oversee the lifecycle of digital solutions and scope of responsibilities, in accordance with global guidelines and best practices.
• Ensure the security of local IT Assets and participate and deliver the goal of enhancing the level of the company's cybersecurity.
• Develop and oversee the building, management and performance governance of the local IT partners and supplier panel.
• Identify technological risks and opportunities and develop an innovation strategy
Profile
• 12+ years of experience in a similar role in retail, apparel, ecommerce and omnicommerce industries
• Excellent organizational skills to successfully manage the efforts of different IT teams.
• Ability to recruit, develop and federate teammates to grow and develop
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with all levels of stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills with expertise in cross functional management
• Experience in partners and supplier managements
• Strong familiarity and performance with 2 or more different IT domains( IT Retail, IT Supply, IT Digital, Cybersecurity, etc) with a high degree of competency in Digital scope.
• Familiar with product mode | Agile Scrum framework
• Previous experience in a global company and more than one geography
