Responsibilities:
Scrubbing for cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
Preparing and maintaining the sterile field in the operating room.
Assisting the surgical team during procedures, anticipating their needs.
Managing surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies efficiently.
Collaborating with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintaining accurate records of procedures and instrument counts.
Participating in pre-operative and post-operative patient care activities.
Following hospital protocols and safety standards.
Continuously updating knowledge on advancements in CTVS procedures.
Requirements:
Registered Nurse with specialized experience CTVS procedures.
Proficient knowledge of aseptic techniques and operating room protocols.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Willingness to stay updated on the latest advancements in CTVS.
Preferred:
GNM or B.Sc
Prior experience of at least 6 months in CTVS OT procedures a must
Familiarity with the latest surgical technologies and equipment.
