Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Coordination:
• Plan and execute diverse culinary events, including workshops, demonstrations, tastings, themed culinary experiences, and food walks.
• Design and curate heritage food walks, showcasing the culinary history, traditional recipes, and cultural significance of specific cuisines or regions.
• Collaborate with chefs, cultural historians, food artisans, and vendors to develop unique and authentic event concepts.
• Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure seamless execution.
• Coordinate venue selection and setup, including outdoor spaces, restaurants, and historical sites.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with chefs, food artisans, heritage experts, cultural organizations, and venues.
• Identify and collaborate with local vendors, food historians, and guides for heritage food walks.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to optimize event budgets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and licensing requirements.

Marketing and Promotion:
• Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and social media campaigns for culinary events and food walks.
• Develop content for event descriptions, email campaigns, and online platforms that highlight the cultural and culinary significance of the experiences.
• Partner with media, influencers, and food bloggers to generate buzz and drive attendance.

Client and Participant Engagement:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, participants, and partners, addressing inquiries and special requests professionally.

• Gather feedback and testimonials post-event to improve future experiences.

Operational Execution:
• Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events and walks.
• Coordinate and manage event staff, including chefs, assistants, tour guides, and volunteers.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues during events to ensure a smooth experience.

Heritage Food Walks and Culinary Tours:
• Research and design immersive food walks that explore traditional and regional cuisines, local street food, and historic culinary practices.
• Identify landmarks, historical sites, and local eateries to include in the food walk itinerary.
• Collaborate with cultural experts to narrate the historical and cultural significance of food items and locations during the walks.
• Create engaging materials such as maps, brochures, or guides for participants.

Financial Oversight:
• Monitor event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Track expenses, process invoices, and maintain financial reports for events.

Creative Development:
• Stay updated on culinary and cultural trends, incorporating them into event and walk concepts.
• Innovate new event formats that cater to diverse audiences, blending culinary experiences with cultural education.
