As a Curator Exhibitions and Programs, you will play a key role in shaping the cultural landscape of the region.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for initiating and curating exhibitions that align with the organisation's strategic goals and budget considerations. This includes coordinating exhibition production, managing budgets, and engaging with artists and galleries.
Additionally, you will oversee the exhibition installation team to ensure artworks are handled with care and presented to the highest standards. You will also maintain exhibition standards through regular monitoring and preventative maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential: Degree in Visual Arts or extensive curatorial experience
Experience in exhibition development and budget management
Detailed knowledge of contemporary visual arts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of audience development principles

Package: $104,345 - $110,604 gross p.a. plus 11.5% superannuation.
Hours of work: Permanent Full Time. 35 hours per week with option of 1+ day month flexitime arrangement.
