APS 6 - Program Manager, Curatorial and Collection Research (Mobility Opportunity)

The Library is seeking to fill the role of Program Manager, Curatorial and Collection Research (APS 6) on a non-ongoing basis from 1 August 2026 - 23 June 2026.
The Role
The Program Manager, Curatorial and Collection Research, works as part of a busy and dynamic proactive Commissioned Collecting stream with a particular focus on oral history, photographic commissions and web archiving.
We are looking for someone with excellent project management, stakeholder management and communication skills, and experience in managing teams.
Duties include:
Project managing oral history and photographic commissioning projects, including cross-format section projects;
Leading staff in selecting websites for inclusion to the Australian Web Archive;
Relationship management with a diverse range of stakeholder groups;
Promoting the Library’s commissioned collections;
Managing and driving a team to deliver on the National Library’s Collecting Strategy.
