CURRICULUM TECHNICIAN

Part Time - 32.5 hours per week - Term Time - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm

£13.63 per hour - £20,131 gross p.a

As a curriculum technician you will support the Art and Cooking departments to deliver a wide and varied curriculum to students, developing and preparing resources for activities in accordance with lesson plans and in response to student needs. You will have an understanding of art and cookery and be an advocate for the subject so that students are inspired to learn. You will be able to work on your own initiative and communicate effectively at al levels. A good general education, computer literacy and a ‘can do’ attitude is required along with the ability to work well in a team. Prior experience supporting students in school is desirable.

Valence School is a KCC Foundation residential and day Special School for children and young people with physical disabilities, complex medical needs and associated learning and communication difficulties. We are part of the Kent Special Educational Needs Trust (KsENT).
