Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Custom Millwork Supervisor located in Vaughan, ON. The Custom Millwork Supervisor will oversee daily operations of millwork projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards are met, and coordinate with team members to manage workload and production schedules. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining inventory, and liaising with clients to address project requirements and concerns.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on millwork experience, leadership ability, and a deep understanding of custom cabinetry and architectural woodwork manufacturing. The role may include site visits as necessary.

Strong Analytical Skills and ability to assess and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Customer Service skills to address client needs and ensure project satisfaction.
Experience in the millwork or construction industry is a must.
Proficiency in using tools and systems related to scheduling and production management.
Set up and operate woodworking machines.
Ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team under tight deadlines.
Supervise and lead shop craftsmen, machine operators, and assemblers.
Oversee production schedules to ensure on-time project completion.
Review shop drawings and specifications before production release.
Coordinate with Project Managers regarding timelines, priorities, and changes.
Monitor workflow efficiency, material usage, and labor productivity.
Train and mentor team members to maintain high craftsmanship standards.
Enforce shop safety procedures and maintain organized clean work areas.
Assist with problem-solving related to fabrication or design challenges.
8+ years of experience in custom millwork or cabinetry manufacturing
5+ years of supervisory or lead experience preferred
Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, fabrication processes, and material.
Background in commercial or high-end residential millwork strongly preferred.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
