Job Description
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Experience in DC exits/transformations through migrating applications to cloud platforms using strategies such as the 6Rs.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, on-premise infrastructure, virtualization and containerisation platforms.
Experience building and maintaining customer relationships.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions, encompassing strategy, implementation, and maintenance to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Knowledge of modernization path for mainframe and Unix operating systems (i.e., AIX, pSeries, zSeries, HP-UX).
Strong scripting or programming skills for automation and operational efficiency.
Proficient in security concepts like encryption and identity/access management, alongside networking concepts including SDN, routing, VPNs, load balancing and firewalls.
