Title: Senior Lead Solutions Architect

In this role, you will :
• Provide expert oversight with regards to application architecture and work closely with the Vice President to guide the application roadmap
• Work closely with the other managers and Directors to plan and execute the development priorities
• Maintaining and developing new features on our applications based on requirements
• Developing unit test code as part of overall quality assurance best practices.
• Participating in design and code reviews
• Collaborating with teams across the company to solve software, system design and implementation problems.
• Working with development and product management teams to define user story acceptance criteria, break down complex stories into tasks, estimates, plan and deliver.
• Converting technical and functional requirements into system level design specifications, to develop high-performance software.
• Contributing to improvements in our corporate software development methodology and practices.
• Troubleshooting and debugging new or existing software programs.
• Participating in on-call rotation to support the application and its users
• Writing or updating functional requirement documents and guides, as required
What we are looking for :
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field with a minimum of 15 years' experience in software development.
• Significant and demonstratable Expertise in software development, including complex cloud solutions leveraging SPA (single page application), Azure and Microsoft technologies.
• Javascript frameworks (vue.js, react, angular)
• State management pattern, routing, single page application
• Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS
• Consuming RESTful APIs
• Responsive design
• Unit tests, component tests (Jest or similar)
• Expertise in Microsoft technologies C#, .NET Core, Microsoft Azure
• Deep understanding of SOLID design principles, Ob ject-Oriented Design, Domain Driven Design, Test Driven Development.
• Relational and non-relational database
• Test Driven Development
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Kubernetes and containerized applications
• Experience implementing common programming design patterns and best practices.
• Experience in agile methodologies such as SCRUM, Kanban
• Abilities to plan and track a development projects, using tools like JIRA or others.
• English (oral and written) is a must, French is an asset
• Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements
• Team player with positive attitude. Be pro-active

• Consideration for data confidentiality and security

Job Description

What You’ll Do

• Curate specific product collections for each customer you meet

• Contribute to an environment where everyone knows their health and safety is a top priority and where everyone actively participates in ensuring the health and safety of each other and our customers

Qualifications
• Experience in specialty retail or a retail environment preferred but not required
• Adaptability, flexibility and a willingness to learn new things and be exposed to all aspects of the store
• Demonstrated commitment to creating an exceptional employee and customer experience
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, overnights and early mornings (if required for the role)
• Bilingualism (French/English) is required for all positions in Québec; other languages an asset
