About the role

As the Customer Insights Analyst, you will help shape how Parks Victoria delivers exceptional visitor experiences by leveraging data and analytics. You will collect, interpret, and integrate customer and visitation data from various touchpoints to provide actionable insights that improve digital engagement, park operations, and marketing effectiveness.

You will develop segmentation models, journey analytics frameworks, and feedback systems that help us better understand and respond to our visitors' needs. Day-to-day, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive evidence-based decisions that impact millions of park users across the state.

About the Team

We are a customer-focused and purpose-driven team within the Communications, Digital & Engagement directorate of the Visitor Experience Division. Our work blends creativity, analytics, and collaboration to support environmental stewardship and inclusive access to nature.

You will be working alongside a high-performing team of digital specialists, including web editors, content producers, a digital CX lead, and graphic designers, all passionate about making nature accessible, engaging, and enriching for all Victorians.

We're looking for someone with:

Proven experience in customer analytics, market research, or data analysis in a customer-focused environment
Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Dynamics 365
Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SQL, Python or R
Experience in survey tools, sentiment analysis, and customer feedback methodologies
Experience working in a large or complex organisation (desirable)
