Gallery Assistant/Customer Service Associate
Responsibilities:
Greet visitors warmly and provide an excellent customer experience
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system
Provide information about exhibitions, artists, and upcoming events
Assist with membership sign-ups and renewals
Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments securely
Answer phone calls and respond to visitor inquiries
Maintain a clean and welcoming reception and sales area
Support the gift shop or merchandise area, including restocking and tidying
Tracking visitors, volunteers’ hours, and other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
Comfortable handling cash and using point-of-sale systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Interest in or appreciation for art and culture is a plus
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
