Customer Service
We are a New Zealand owned and operated paint manufacturer based in Auckland and Wellington and have been operating for over 50 years. We are a small hardworking team, who appreciates someone with a good sense of humour, who likes to work hard and is a good team player. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Customer Service Superstar. This is a full time, permanent role based in East Tamaki. Hours are 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. We have an extensive product range, so there is plenty to learn, and no two days are the same.
Qualifications & experience
Some customer service or sales experience
Intermediate computer skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
A positive can-do attitude
The ability to deal with a range of people
Tasks & responsibilities
Taking orders via phone and email and entering them in as sales orders in Navision
Reconciling customer order paperwork with packing slips and shipping orders.
Assisting customers with queries.
Notifying customers of back orders.
Tracking late, lost or damaged customer orders with freight companies.
Daily audit of customer orders –checking to see if any sales orders are still outstanding, and updating shipping dates with estimated ETA, following up any outstanding orders, updating customers etc.
Compiling and distributing outstanding order list daily with notes from production.
Sending out TDS and MSDS sheets to customers.
Backing up reception.
