The role
Join Our Dynamic Trade Waste Team as a Customer Service Officer!

We're looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our Trade Waste team and deliver exceptional service to our customers while supporting our dynamic team. This is a part-time opportunity (0.8 FTE), with a requirement to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday for team coverage.

In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to:

Process trade waste applications swiftly and efficiently, ensuring compliance with our Customer Charter and making a real impact on customer satisfaction
Engage with new occupiers of commercial and industrial facilities, building strong relationships and providing support
Provide expert technical advice and guidance over the phone, helping our customers navigate Trade Waste regulatory compliance
Keep our operations running smoothly by making updates to our works schedule and billing database
Administer all Accounts Payable and Receivable processing of our branch
Handle billing tasks for tankered waste and batch discharge customers
If you are a proactive problem-solver with a passion for customer service and a knack for multitasking, we want to hear from you!

Who are you?
With a background in Administration or Customer Service, you pride yourself on providing an excellent experience to customers. You're a strong communicator with skills to negotiate and influence, who naturally builds relationships and customer rapport, and has experience preparing professional and constructive written communication.

It's important that you have a safety-first mindset, have the ability to comprehend technical matters and are open to learning new technical skills. Your experience working in fast-paced environments means you can manage multiple tasks at once, effectively prioritise your work and mange stakeholder expectations.
