Customer Service Offficer

Employment type: Temporary position up to 6 Months. A Talent Pool will also be created to fill any future vacancies

Salary -$70,6+4.00 to $76,857 per annum + Superannuation and annual leave loading per year of service.

Your role

The primary purpose of this role is to provide front line services to the community from a local office (Community Service Centre or “CSC”). The role involves a range of client and administrative services that contribute to the effective delivery of quality services in a CSC.

What you’ll do

As a Customer Service Officer, you will support the delivery of the CSC’s administrative functions and provide high quality Customer service to our clients both in person and over the phone.

You will have a strong customer service background, attention to detail and a high level of organisational skills.

You will also support caseworkers within the unit providing administration support assistance with processing financials, answering the switch, provide reception duties, assist with fleet management and a variety of other tasks.

What we’re looking for

• Customer service experience both in person, via email and over the phone

Ability to organise work and prioritise workload in a busy work environment

A positive attitude and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel

A valid driver’s licence

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will have good attention to detail and a high level of organisational skills

Proven experience using computer-based applications
