About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Specialist to manage and optimize our international import and export processes. This role requires a strong understanding of global trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage end-to-end logistics operations for international shipments.
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs requirements.
Prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
Negotiate freight rates and manage relationships with carriers and customs brokers.
Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues related to delays or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities and documentation.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in international logistics and supply chain management.
Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of international trade laws, customs procedures, and INCOTERMS.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
Certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
