Job Description
Position Details:
Reporting to the Manager, Customer Services, the Customer Service Specialist will work with their portfolio of customers and internal stakeholders to provide timely and efficient transload and transportation solutions. The Customer Service Specialist will coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries with the railways and our Dispatch and Operations teams. The Customer Service Specialist will also leverage their relationship with our customers to identify new revenue opportunities and share those opportunities with our Supply Chain team.
Due to 24/7 operation this position will be working a rotating 4 on 4 off schedule from 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
What we are looking for:
Customer service experience in high-volume, high-accountability environments
Experience in Transportation, rail, logistics or similar environments preferred
Experience and accuracy with data entry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook)
Comfortable learning and adapting to new systems
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced, detail focused environment
Able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Highly developed communication skills
The successful candidate will require a reliable vehicle as our office is located outside of public transport
