As part of Mitre10 (New Zealand) Ltd, our Napier store is dynamic, fast-paced, and growing. We’re on a mission to deliver top-quality products, unbeatable value, and expert advice to help our customers tackle their DIY projects with confidence and ease.
We’re looking for a capable, quick-thinking person for our Check-Out and Customer Services desk. This is a pivotal role that ensures our customers receive a seamless experience from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Handling customer and staff enquiries, phone calls, GE Finance, product location, and checkout sales
Navigating the unexpected with confidence and professionalism
What We’re Looking For:
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
A detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Strong multitasking and follow-through skills
POS system experience (training provided)
A proactive, can-do attitude with high accuracy and attention to detail
Tech-savvy and well-organised
Previous experience in a retail or rostered environment will be a strong advantage.
Roster Details:
You will be expected to work on a roster basis, with at least one day per weekend work included.
