This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) for upcoming Customer Specialist opportunities across Tāmaki Makaurau branches.

Roles arise regularly and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis over the next 6 months.

As a Customer Specialist with ASB, you’ll have the opportunity to walk alongside our customers and their whānau, supporting them with their everyday banking needs in a way that is respectful, warm, and empowering. You’ll take the time to build genuine relationships, listen deeply to what matters most, and guide customers toward the right solutions for them — including introducing digital and self-service options in a way that feels clear, supportive, and confidence-building.

By bringing curiosity, care, courage and a willingness to keep learning, you’ll ask thoughtful questions and offer personalised guidance that reflects each customer’s aspirations, circumstances, and values. Your approach will help ensure customers feel understood, supported, and confident in the choices they make.

This role is an important part of how ASB brings manaakitanga to life. Whether you’re supporting customers over the phone in our Contact Centre (Direct Channels) or welcoming them kanohi-ki-te-kanohi (in person) in an Advice Centre (Branch), you’ll be part of a team that values whanaungatanga, diversity, and strong community connections. Together, you’ll help create meaningful experiences that build trust, uphold dignity, and make a positive difference for our customers, every day.
