Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Customer Support Engineer/Application Engineer to support test and measurement instruments, ensuring their reliability, accuracy, and optimal performance. The role involves working closely with global customers, internal R&D, QA, and production teams to troubleshoot technical issues and enhance product performance.
Experience
Application Engineer: 3+ years
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers worldwide via phone and web platforms
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to cable (copper & fiber) test and network instruments
Perform calibration, maintenance, and validation of electronic and mechanical test equipment
Investigate technical problems and conduct root cause analysis
Validate software and hardware fixes before deployment
Develop and support automated test procedures
Manage and analyze customer test data; ensure proper documentation, archiving, and reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, QA, and production
Ensure compliance with technical standards and data integrity requirements
Document technical findings and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience
Strong understanding of electronics, PCB hardware, software systems, and mechanical design
Experience with test and measurement instruments (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex technical issues
