We are excited to announce a newly created Customer Support Officer position as our Ageing Services team grows to meet increasing demand. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), a government-funded initiative that helps seniors maintain their independence and wellbeing.
The Opportunity
As our Customer Support Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, primarily focusing on invoice and billing queries, processing payments, and providing administrative support to the care coordination team. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for our clients. This is a full-time position based in Eight Mile Plains, with the flexibility of 2 days working from home per week upon completion of probation. The role is offered on a 1-year maximum term contract, with the possibility of extension as the service continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email with professionalism, accuracy, and empathy.
Investigate invoice discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, adjustments, and resolutions.
Provide administrative support to the Regional Lead and team, including compliance and office coordination tasks.
Contribute ideas to improve administrative processes and support overall service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in administrative systems, CRM platforms, and accurate documentation practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven customer service experience.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve routine issues, and escalate complex matters appropriately.
Empathy, patience, and respect when working with older clients and stakeholders.
Understanding of aged care or CHSP programs (highly desirable).
Requirements
Mandatory
NDIS Worker Screening OR valid National Police Check (within 3 months)
Working with Children Check (state equivalent)
Completed NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety & You
Right to Work in Australia
Desirable
Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Business Administration
Open class Driver Licence
