Come join our Customer Verification – AML & Sanctions Team at Kiwibank and develop a sound understanding of anti-money laundering, sanctions screening and financial crime.

As a Customer Verification Analyst you will:

Investigate unusual activity alerts for suspicious activity and writing clear justifications for your decision making.

Write and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports and providing recommendations to management regarding follow up actions.

Review International payments for potential Sanctions matches and taking appropriate action where necessary.

Work as a team to maintain important SLAs and making sure Kiwibank remains compliant with AML/CFT legislation.

Maintain several key AML compliance functions within Kiwibank.

Experience in AML and Transaction Monitoring, and Financial Crime typologies.

High attention to detail and proven analytical skills.

The ability to work to a high standard in a high-pressure environment.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Confident in reporting, analysing information and making recommendations.
