Customs Clerk - Chelmsford - Up to 31,000 plus quarterly bonus
Are client are looking for an Customs Clerk to help grow the business by performing job duties on different kinds of entries and understanding of various customs queries.
As Customs Clerk You will spend your day working on your own entries and assisting the team with their entries as well. You will handle post-clearances when required and will be able to up skill yourself to handle entries of all kinds.
Job type: Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday (No weekends)
Package
• Salary - Up to 31,000
• Quarterly bonus
• Annual leave - 20 days plus bank holidays (Increases to 25 days during tenure)
After Probation (3 Months)
• Gym membership
• Subsidised travel and lunch
Day-to-day Work Includes
• Loading jobs in Multi-freight when required
• Preparing CDS entries
• Ongoing learning of Customs Regimes/Commodity Codes/CPC Codes
• Handling Post-Clearance documents
Required
• Knowledge and experience with import/export entries (Min. 3 years)
• Experience with customs software
Desirable
• Experience with Far-East imports
• Experience with niche clearances
• Experience with exports to EU, USA, and Far-East
