Reporting to the Project Director the Project Manager is responsible for all the JV and Aecon Extended Master Service Agreement projects for Ontario Power Generation. Authority limitations are in accordance with and remain as identified in the Policies & Procedures manual. The Project Manager is responsible for the development of business opportunities as they relate to the preparation and delivery of proposals including the execution strategies and procedures utilized for the delivery of projects.
What You'll Do Here
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
• Prepare short and long term projections and forecasts for identified projects
• Prepare project revenue targets and budgets and update as required
• Responsible for the development of business opportunities as they apply to the account.
• Facilitate a first hand business relationship with customers at decision-making levels.
PROPOSAL AND ESTIMATING
• Establish strategies for success of proposals.
• Participation and understanding of the final proposal pricing.
• Participation in the preparation and delivery of all proposal documents.
• Risk analysis, including review of Terms and Conditions, pre-bid recommendation forms, PRC and chairing pre-bid meetings.
• Participation in the negotiation of the proposal towards award.
PROJECT EXECUTION
• Identification of threats to project delivery and establishment of suitable counter measures.
• Establish resources required to execute projects.
• Facilitate project turnover meetings and foster information exchange from proposal team.
• Select the management and supervision team to execute the projects.
• Ultimate responsibility for the execution of the work in terms of safety, project management strategies, schedule, cost, manpower and client communications.
• Total responsibility for financial, accounting, reporting associated with the project.
• Post job analysis of all major projects.
• Responsible for management of claims to their ultimate settlement.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Informal safety inspections as per Red Book training.
• Provide supervisory guidance to project personnel.
• Preparation of succession plans.
• Ensure that all employees are fully trained for the function they are expected to fulfill
What You Bring To The Team
• Minimum 5-10 years of nuclear industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or another relevant field with a focus on nuclear construction.
• Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience with the nuclear industry. (Power generation experience is considered as asset)
• Business development & commercial knowledge

As a cybersecurity generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing comprehensive security solutions and experience across various domains, maintaining the protection of client systems and data. You will apply a broad understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices to address diverse security challenges effectively.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
• Support Implementation team in performing proof of concept for the security solutions (e.g. Sentinel SIEM, Chronicle SIEM, etc.)
• Lead the technical deliverables for SIEM implementation or operations for log sources integrations to SIEM
• Ability to develop and support on custom integration to SIEM (custom scripts for integration into SIEM, custom parser for parsing logs on SIEM)
• Expertise in building use cases around NIST and MITRE ATT&CK framework to enable detection at various stages of a cyber attack
• Implementation of use cases using SPL/KQL with complex correlation across different data sources
• Development of dashboards/workbooks, alerts
• Implementation of SOAR workflows using Logic Apps, Phantom, Demisto etc
• Interfaces with Client and Internal teams to support delivery of Scope, and ensuring PwC Quality Standards are being met
• Coordinate escalations, incidents, change requests and engage the appropriate teams to get to resolution and / or root cause while effectively managing Client expectation
• Communicate with the Client any issues, requests, and status related to technologies under engagement
• Provide feedback/recommendation to enhance/improve new processes or to develop new processes to strengthen the current Security Framework
• Communicate effectively with peers and maintain positive working relationships across all teams
Experiences and skills you’ll need to solve
• Experience in various security tools (e.g. SIEM, EDR, etc.) as well as operating system flavors including but not limited to Windows, Linux, Unix
• Prior experience in SIEM implementation or operations for solutions like Azure Sentinel, Chronicle, Splunk, ArcSight Tools
• Experience on KQL/SPL
• Basic knowledge of User Entity Behavior, Machine Learning models
• Scripting knowledge of python is an added advantage
• Integrating log sources with Sentinel using REST API
• Working knowledge of all architectural components of SIEM
• Knowledge about cloud environment and hybrid environments
• Working knowledge in Azure services like Security center, azure monitor, log analytics, NSG, Storage, Azure Functions, defender ATP, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management, etc.
• Experience of threat intelligence and threat hunting is added advantage
• Proficient communication, analytical skills, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of security applications, operations systems, network devices, databases, middleware to address security threats
• Proficient in preparation of documentation
• Demonstrated ability to produce quality and consistency in delivery with own, and team(s) work
• Demonstrated ability to be transparent and accountable at all levels
• Azure Certification (AZ 500- Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, SC 200 - Microsoft Security Operations Analyst), Sec +, Network+, CISM, CISSP and GIAC certifications preferred
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study with a preference for Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Minimum of 4+ years in Information Technology/ or Information Security
PwC BC Region Pay Range Information
The salary range* for this position is $82,300.00 - 10+,700.00 - 137,000.00 CAD Annual, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.
• Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region. Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location.
