We are seeking Cyber Security Advisers to join our Cyber Security team to play a critical role in protecting the ATO from evolving and sophisticated cyber threats.

These roles combine advisory and technical responsibilities to strengthen the organisation’s security posture while enabling secure business outcomes.

As a Cyber Security Adviser, you will help safeguard the ATO’s information, systems, people and community by providing guidance, managing cyber risk, and enabling secure decision-making.

You will work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams to uplift security capabilities, assist with the application of IT and cyber frameworks, promote awareness of information security issues, and help with education and the uplift of ISM and Essential Eight controls. You’ll also contribute to cyber security activities, such as vulnerability assessments and providing recommendations to mitigate threats. A focus on proactive risk management and early business engagement will ensure secure, client-focused outcomes.

Cyber Governance and Security Adviser
Cyber Policy Adviser
Foreign Ownership, Control and Influence Adviser
Cyber Security Architect
Technology and Information Security Adviser
