We are seeking experienced Cyber Security Advisers to join our Cyber Security teams and play a critical role in protecting the ATO from evolving and sophisticated cyber threats.
These roles combine leadership, technical analysis and advisory expertise to strengthen the organisation’s security posture while enabling secure business outcomes.
As a Cyber Security Adviser, you will lead the investigation and management of complex cyber and information security risks, provide technical advice, and oversee governance and compliance activities. You’ll interpret and apply security frameworks (such as the ISM and PSPF) to a high degree of complexity, ensuring security requirements are embedded into systems, processes and strategic planning. You’ll also influence key partners by providing evidence-based recommendations.
You will uplift capability by mentoring, providing direction, and fostering a culture of proactive security engagement. You’ll work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to coordinate and review risk assessments, oversee remediation of vulnerabilities and non-compliances, and respond to audits.
You will also contribute to enterprise roadmaps, facilitating security forums, and ensuring coordinated engagement with internal and external partners. You’ll contribute to staff and stakeholder awareness through security education programs and campaigns that uplift cyber maturity and promote secure behaviours.
