Responsibilities
Analyse threat intelligence feeds and security alerts to identify and mitigate risks.
Investigate and respond to security incidents, including phishing, malware, and data breaches.
Perform vulnerability assessments and assist with remediation efforts.
Monitor and improve security controls, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure a robust security posture.
Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and best practices.
Required Skills
Strong experience in a Cyber Security Analyst role.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, and security operations.
Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Desirable Skills
Mining industry experience.
Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISA, CEH).
Experience in threat hunting, digital forensics, and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
Cloud security experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with frameworks like NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.
