Job Description
A leading utility provider located in New York is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity consultant to join their team.
This role is onsite 4 days a week, and remote 1 day.
The client is seeking a highly motivated candidate who demonstrates strong commitment to operational excellence, possesses technical proficiency in the deployment and or management of cybersecurity technologies such as but not limited to Trend Micro Antivirus, RSA SecureID, and Splunk.
Candidates must have experience managing and deploying Trend Micro Antivirus, RSA SecureID, and Splunk (or any combination of the three) within large organizations.
The ideal candidate is well organized, detail-oriented, flexible at handling multiple assignments and meeting deadlines with a safety mind set. This individual must also exercise good judgment and render sound business decisions. The applicant should possess strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to produce design and procedural documentation.
Candidates must have relevant working experience in a cybersecurity team or performing cybersecurity functions.
The candidate must have the ability to lift/transport server equipment when needed and must be able to provide off-hour, on-call support as needed to support cybersecurity systems.
Candidates must be willing and able to work overtime and be flexible with work hours to respond to emergencies or scheduled work that must be done either prior to or after normal business hours.
Must have the means and be able to travel to various Company locations. Must have a valid driver’s license.
The selected candidate will require passing of NERC CIP Personnel Risk Assessment background check.
Responsibilities:
Work with others to implement new deployments of cybersecurity technologies such as Cyberark, Tenable, and other products.
Additionally assist other upgrade efforts on existing infrastructure equipment to support applications and cyber security growth.
Create documentation and procedures for day to day and major tasks as needed.
Determine and propose suggested architecture for system deployments.
Communicate and work with vendors and internal stakeholders on deployment of technology.
Configure and setup systems.
Create documentation and train others on the use of the new system.
Job Types: Permanent, Fixed term
Pay: $7+,220.54 – $173,138.43 per year
