We are currently expanding at a phenomenal rate – on the back of what is our record year in terms of revenue (over £1bn) - and so are looking for outstanding individuals to join our dedicated Head Office team, to help the company continue to flourish.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Digital Products and embedded into the finance teams this individual will be the owner of the financial systems within Travel Counsellors to ensure that finance users are correctly supported, and the system evolves with the growth of the business. We are looking for that person who is happy to be self-organising and can take on the exciting opportunity of maintaining, configuring, evolving financial systems as an advanced user supported by technical support teams and a specialist partner in the space.
This is an ideal role for someone who is financially minded/trained/qualified and enjoys the systems and process side of a financial team, working alongside financial and technical colleagues.
Principal Accountabilities
You will be the systems owner, ensuring that systems are available, maintained, supported, and improved in line with In-Life BAU activity
Adding, amending, maintaining and troubleshooting existing configuration across the Finance systems
Providing 1st line operational user support to users in collaboration with a technical helpdesk
Supporting the technical support desk with escalating issues to the 2nd line support partners
A key stakeholder of the incident team in collaboration with technical support desk in the event of unplanned outages and P1/P2 issues
Implementing, & maintaining finance processes into the finance systems
Owning and executing the release processes in line with the technology and supplier partners, which includes regression testing and automated suites
Collecting, planning, and executing development improvements to the finance systems in collaboration with internal and external partners
Be the face of the finance systems internally in Travel Counsellors
Key Skills and Experience Required
Expert proficiency in the capability, configuration, process flows and functionality of MS D365 F&O
Significant understanding of financial roles, process and concepts, including AP, AR, management reporting and other areas
Ability to create and/or amend process maps using Visio (or similar), to help enhance system capabilities and user experience
Experience and knowledge of working to Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
Prior experience of provision of 1st and 2nd line technical support for finance system issues across a range of stakeholders
Formal finance qualifications would be desirable, though not essential
