The firm is hiring for an exceptional investment team Analyst who have substantial responsibility throughout the lifecycle of the investment and due diligence process. The Analyst will work in a highly collaborative environment where successful candidates will be able to demonstrate initiative and teamwork, strong technical writing skills, and advanced financial modeling and presentation skills. The Analyst will work with senior team members to support the firm's investment decisions by developing deep and differentiated market and company-specific insights. Core responsibilities will include conducting financial and operational diligence, constructing financial models to evaluate investment economics, valuation and due diligence activities
Responsibilities
• Conduct market, industry and company research
• Drafting of marketing / pitch presentations (MA sell-sides buy-sides, Debt Advisory)
• Performance of company and financial analyses including valuations
• Preparation of marketing materials for MA sell-sides buy-sides
• Due Diligence, data room and overall project management in MA buy- and sell-sides
• Client management in MA process preparations and actual execution
• Help create and manage our company database, monitoring prospects on an ongoing basis
• As requested, assist with investor relations and potential investor outreach
• Help supervise back-end functions as needed
Qualifications
• Self-starting mentality, drive for achievement and personal growth
• Minimum of 3 - 6 years practical experience in an investment bank, MA boutique, or equivalent
• Experience in projects including drafting of Information Memorandum, Management Presentations, due diligence preparation and organization as well as QA management
• Profound practical valuation expertise including comparable company and transaction analysis as well as DCF excel modelling skills with respect to operating models
• Strong analytical skills and quick grasp
• Team player who is used to work and operate within different team compositions
• Used to assume own responsibilities and aware of respective accountability
• Strong work ethic and commitment towards client and project work-imposed deadlines
• Self-dependently originating and managing MA transaction
Desired Traits
• Superior academic achievement and degree from a top-tier undergraduate college or university
• Minimum of two years of previous investment banking / consulting / private equity experience, ideally with some consumer products exposure
• Ability to work under critical and dynamic deadlines, prioritize and multitask within a small team structure
• Strong financial modeling and quantitative skills
• Polished and professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Expert in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent work ethic and professional demeanor
