Location – Pune

Role Description

Finance Change (FC) is the partner of choice for Finance Senior Management in developing, detailing and executing the Finance Change agenda. Your Key Responsibilities:

Support the Deutsche Bank's regulatory / other change initiatives as a Project Manager/Sr Business Analyst, Program Management support, responsible in delivering different changes initiatives globally. Working with the Project team and other key stakeholders in multiple locations, by providing direct engagement support (daily & weekly) to assigned initiatives.

Project Management
• Responsible in the planning, controlling, monitoring, managing and directing the assigned project resources to best meet project objectives.
• Determines project scope, objectives, approach, governance, timeline and KPIs; capture in project initiation documents.
• Work in accordance with Agile methodology, attend and conduct along with scrum masters and feature teams the agile ceremonies
• Participate in planning sessions, QBRs, ARTs as required
• Defines and create project plan and business cases.
• Support/Develop policies and procedures to support the achievement of the project objectives
• Responsible for creating project and change governance.
• Ensures key resources and budget are in place for the project or programme assigned.
• Accountable for identifying, monitoring, and responding to risk in the project.
• Manages and directs the assigned project resources to best meet project objectives
• Meets the change deployment principles and hands over sustainability through engagement and partnership working with operational, customer and partners change teams.
• Stakeholder management; able to build and maintain a range of senior stakeholder relationships and influence stakeholders to support change agenda.
• Principal level stakeholder management (internal and external) and occasionally Director to Managing Director level.
• Understanding of existing regulatory framework, including regulatory finance and implications for P&L
• Ability to communicate complex problems / solutions in an articulate manner, using data to support your argument and influence stakeholders.

Business Analysis
• As a Senior Business Analyst ensure that the requirements/user stories are created to a matured level and coordinate between GT and RTB to ensure requirements are well articulated and understood between GT and RTB
• Use Agile methodology to write requirements / user stories
• Use appropriate tools to capture requirements: JIRA, ALM, etc
• Manages deliverables of assigned business analysts.
• Works with stakeholders and key Subject Matter Experts to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs.
• Determines and documents business requirement including functional and non-functional needs.
• Responsible in the creation of backlogs, PI planning inputs.
• Clearly articulates and documents business requirements to stake holders
• Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands.
• Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.
• De-construct, describe and assess the components of existing business, its products, processes, data, challenges, risks, and goals.
• Reviews and provides sign off on the solution provided by IT counterparts this include functional and non-functional specifications seen in the Functional design document (FSD) or similar documents.
• Iterate design options and facilitate prioritisation of solution
• Supports go-live activities (UAT, test writing) and provides post-go live support during "warranty" period.
• Prepares necessary project hand over/closure activities and documentations i.e. user manual, future state process maps, etc.
• Capability Development & Management - Contribute to the stakeholder's process improvement initiatives related to delivery and cross-functional trainings.

Supporting Operational Readiness

The Operational Readiness work stream is created to drive a structured approach to proactively identify and address risks of diverse nature and enable smooth and seamless transition into required future state of the program in collaboration with Change, Run the Bank, Technology and other support groups. Operational readiness is a process to measure progress towards achieving the state of "readiness to operate". Key responsibilities:
• Conduct independent assessment on operational readiness themes to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and equipped to transition to the new system.
• Facilitate ART and feature team alignment on Operational Readiness topics.
• Document processes and controls using firmwide tools (like EPM for process mapping).
• Track non-standard solutions and process workarounds.
• Secure Operational Readiness sign-off based on defined acceptance criteria.
• Provide support and evidence for audit engagement (internal and external) on sign off and adhering to the go live assessment.

Your skills and Experience
• Minimum of 8 years work experience with 5 years in relevant experience in Change, Finance/IT project implementation in the banking or financial service sector (preferred).
• Good understanding of the financial services industry and ability to apply banking product and service knowledge
• Knowledge of and experience in project management and governance along with good understanding of the application of associated tools and techniques
• Knowledgeable in different systems i.e. SAP4Hana, SAP R3, SAP BW, Intalio, workflow tools, Cognos, Business objects, Oracle and other certified data access or workflow tools.
• Vast Experience/Knowledge in different Software Development Methodologies i.e. SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, Scrum. Etc.
• Ability to deliver effectively across environments or projects that are nonlinear, fast-paced, and often characterized by incomplete information and stakeholder disagreement
• Experience in business analysis, change adoption management and strategy development along with appropriate data and analytical skills
• Willingness to challenge the current operating environment as well as highly motivated to proactively take on initiatives to deliver change throughout the Bank
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English across all levels
• Excellent ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload
• Able to Multi-task and work under tight deadlines

Education/ Qualifications
• Financial industry knowledge highly desirable in areas of Financial Reporting, Control, Risk and PnL, Operations, Reg Reporting or Financial analysis.
• Bachelor or Post Graduate Degree from an accredited university (Finance preferable)
• PMI / PMP certified or trained preferred
• Professional certification CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, PMI-PBA, Agile etc. is a plus
• SAP Experience / knowledge preferable
