POSITION DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

QUALIFICATIONS & CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Manitoba Teaching Certificate.
Post-graduate studies in teacher-librarian, information technology, learning literacies, or related course work.
Expertise in the implementation of inquiry-based learning, the integration of digital tools and resources, and the promotion of
literature for a variety of learners and purposes.
Experience in collaborative planning, instructional design and co-teaching with teaching staff and school administration
Experience and knowledge related to the daily operations of a school library, including library administration, collection
development and resource management databases.
Expertise in the selection and evaluation of both print and digital learning resources across the curriculum
Experience facilitating professional learning opportunities and empowering professional learning in self and others
Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search.
Clear report from the Child Abuse Registry.
Respect In School or Commit to Kids certification.
Manitoba Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred.
