Job Title: Female Dance Teacher, residing only in Bengaluru.
Qualification & Experience: Any Graduate 3 to 4 years experience in a CBSE School.
Responsibilities:
As a Dance Teacher in a school, your primary responsibility is to create a safe and engaging environment for students to learn and explore various dance styles. Your role includes:
Developing and implementing dance curriculums: As a Dance Teacher, you will need to create lesson plans and develop curriculums for various grade levels. This involves selecting appropriate music, choreographing routines, and teaching dance techniques.
Teaching dance techniques: You will be responsible for teaching dance techniques to students, including ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip hop, and other dance styles.
Conducting rehearsals: You will need to conduct rehearsals for school performances, competitions, and other events. You will need to coordinate with other teachers, students, and staff to ensure a smooth performance.
Assessing student progress: You will need to assess students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve their dance skills. You may also need to create and administer assessments to evaluate student learning.
Organizing and coordinating events: As a Dance Teacher, you may need to organize and coordinate dance events such as talent shows, dance competitions, and other school events.
Creating a safe environment: You will need to create a safe and inclusive environment for students to learn and grow as dancers. This includes enforcing rules and guidelines for behavior, dress, and safety during rehearsals and performances.
Communicating with parents and school administration: You will need to communicate regularly with parents and school administration about student progress, performances, and other events. You may also need to coordinate with other teachers and staff to ensure a successful dance program.
