About the role:
To generate and maintain information on core products incorporating titles, issues and pricing in an accurate and timeous manner to serve the business functions that use them.
Assist in the investigation of queries raised against the information and resolve any anomalies or misunderstanding from publishers, distributors, or any internal department.
Running reports, interpreting them and taking action from them.
Provide claims details to Publishers and Distributors, and resolve any queries raised.
What you’ll be doing:
Assist the Material Master team to deliver a high standard of service.
Accept training to expand knowledge to ensure the requirement of the business is met.
Work well as an individual and as part of a wider team
Communicate well with a variety of people in writing and face to face
Highlight issues of conduct within team.
To undertake product maintenance for titles, issues, prices, vouchers etc as part of a team.
Understand the company processes and workflows for Material Master responsibilities for all aspects of the product
Understand the significance and use of the data in branch and its impact.
Assist in the investigation of anomalies raised by any of the department’s customers and help resolve in a timely and accurate fashion.
Communicate with business partners, publishers and other departments as required.
Effectively utilise all company IT systems to ensure maximum efficiency, cost reduction and adherence to agreed procedures and company guidelines
Develop process and procedures in conjunction with Managers to best provide support development and improvement in the service provided.
Develop relationships where appropriate with Publishers, Distributors, retailers and internal contacts.
Participate in regular review meetings to highlight issues or planned changes to ensure the service standard is maintain/improved.
