We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Data Analytics Lead (Associate Architect) to drive delivery excellence and data innovation for a global capital markets client focused on private markets and alternative investment strategies. This leadership role requires a blend of deep technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and a strong background in private equity data environments.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Delivery:
Lead cross-functional teams of data architects, analysts, business SMEs, and engineers.
Ensure high-quality delivery through best practices in data architecture, analytics, and governance.
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Strategic & Technical Oversight:
Design and implement enterprise-grade data solutions using SQL Server, Snowflake, Power BI, and Azure.
Own the end-to-end architecture and delivery of DWH, data modeling, and reporting platforms.
Align data strategies with client objectives in the private equity and alternative investment domain.
Analytics & Governance:
Translate complex business needs into scalable analytics and data-driven insights.
Establish strong data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards applicable to private markets.
Define KPIs and performance metrics to measure success and optimize delivery.
Innovation & Thought Leadership:
Evaluate emerging technologies in big data and analytics and assess their fit within the client's ecosystem.
Champion high standards in data quality, security, and integrity across platforms.
Required Skills and Experience
12–15 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3–5 years in a lead/architectural role.
Proven experience with SQL Server, Snowflake, Power BI, and modern data architectures on Azure.
Hands-on expertise in data warehousing, ETL design, data modeling, and enterprise reporting.
Mandatory: Experience in Private Equity / Private Markets, including familiarity with fund structures, compliance, portfolio analytics, or investor reporting.
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage stakeholder expectations across global offices (e.g., New York, London).
Strong understanding of data regulations and compliance frameworks applicable to financial services.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in Power BI, Snowflake, Azure, or data architecture frameworks.
Advanced degrees (MBA, MS in Computer Science, Finance, etc.).
Familiarity with private credit, CLOs, and alternative asset classes.
