Contract: 12 months, with potential extension in the federal government.
Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to contribute to our section's workload. This role requires extensive experience in data analysis, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively with senior staff to meet project deadlines.
About The Role
Key responsibilities include:
Capturing, organising, and sharing program data to enhance decision-making and transparency.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel automation processes, including writing scripts to link SAP data with Excel.
Developing products to transform, model, and visualise program data, working closely with policy and program areas to improve data literacy and usage.
Providing high-quality and timely data analytics services to inform stakeholders.
Preparing detailed briefing and information materials for reporting activities.
Skills, Competencies, And Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
Proficiency in Python and Power BI.
Familiarity with Azure.
Desirable knowledge of working with spatial data.
