Job Description
We are developing a next-generation Know Your Customer (KYC) platform tailored for Australian businesses. At the heart of this product is data — structured, official, real-time, and enriched. We are looking for a Product Data Analyst to help us transform this data into actionable insights for product development, user value, and regulatory confidence.
You will work closely with the product, engineering, and business teams to shape the product roadmap with evidence, identify user behavior patterns, and build the foundations of an intelligent, data-driven compliance platform.
What You’ll Do
Product Analytics
Analyze user behavior, onboarding flows, and feature adoption to uncover insights and bottlenecks.
Design and maintain product dashboards (activation, engagement, retention, churn, etc.).
Set up and monitor core product KPIs, conversion funnels, and event tracking (e.g., with GA, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar).
Partner with the Product Manager to run experiments and A/B tests and validate hypotheses.
KYC Data Modeling & Enrichment
Help define data structures and taxonomies for legal entities, individuals, risk factors, and verification results.
Work with engineering teams on integrating and cleaning external KYC data sources (e.g., business registries, sanctions lists, court records).
Build data pipelines and tools for profiling, deduplication, matching, and risk scoring.
Business Intelligence
Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting on product usage, customer segments, and risk signals.
Support GTM and customer success teams with data for pricing, segmentation, and customer feedback loops.
Contribute to internal documentation and define what “good data” looks like for the team.
About You
3+ years in a product analytics or data analyst role, ideally in B2B SaaS or data-heavy environments.
Strong skills in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Tableau, Looker), and at least one scripting language (Python or R preferred).
Familiarity with event-based product analytics and user behavior tracking tools.
Experience working with structured and semi-structured datasets, including third-party and public registries.
Passion for compliance, data integrity, and building tools that help businesses make informed decisions.
You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, and love turning raw data into clarity.
Bonus: prior experience in RegTech, FinTech, or KYC/AML platforms.
Why Join Us
You’ll be one of the first data hires, shaping the foundation of a high-impact product.
We work with real, high-quality data from official sources — not clickstreams or black boxes.
True cross-functional collaboration: your insights will directly shape the product and user experience.
Flexible hours, remote-first culture, high ownership.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,887.18 – $122,472.35 per year
Benefits:
