Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, information systems, mathematics/statistics or related discipline from a reputed institution
• 6+ months experience in the field of IT consulting, digital, analytics and/or business intelligence
• Strong knowledge of IT (information technology), digital, analytics and Agility areas in a consulting setup with interest in digital and technology trends shaping the industry
• Good operational knowledge of MS Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint) technical features and developer tools, as well as VBA automation, etc.
• Basic knowledge of data manipulation tools (like Alteryx, Knime) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Strong conceptual problem-solving and analytical skills with a critical eye to validate data quality, identify issues and take corrective measures
• Attention to detail, quality control and responsiveness
• Strong multi-tasking abilities and excellent time management skills
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset; interested in a "start-up" environment and excited about data analysis
• Willingness to work in an ambiguous and highly demanding and results-oriented environment
• Outstanding verbal and written communicator; ability to establish him/herself as a trusted and indispensable advisor to consulting teams and clients
What You'll Do
You will be responsible for delivering Ignite diagnostics and deep-dive assessments on a range of topics, contributing to asset development and improvements as well as knowledge creation initiatives.
In this role, you will work on analyses of digital and analytics maturity. You will drive and support enterprise agility assessments as well as conduct information technology cost and productivity benchmarking. You will also conduct IT project sizing cost/FTE estimation and prioritization in one or multiple verticals as a part of broader McKinsey engagements. You will interact with McKinsey engagement teams and client stakeholders, coordinate with them on data gathering, analysis and development of end deliverables. You will analyze medium/small data sets by developing scripts to validate them. You will transform and load data in Excel and/or use workflows built on other platforms. You will also create insights that help drive our clients to action.
